This class offers a supportive space for those experiencing grief to explore and express their feelings through watercolor, collage, colored pencil, and pastel. Through color, texture, and creative expression, participants can connect with others while discovering new ways of moving through loss and finding moments of joy again.
Art can provide a sense of belonging in a world that has changed without the person we have lost. There is no need for previous art experience—only a willingness to explore creativity as part of the journey through grief.
A lifelong art educator and professional artist, Bonny has a deep connection to the healing power of creativity. After the death of her daughter, Sarah, in 2023, Bonny became a Certified Grief Educator. This class is offered in honor of Sarah’s artistic life and as a way of carrying her dreams forward in new forms.
Bonny is also a Level 3 Reiki practitioner and is certified in the ASSIST program.
